American International Mobility Resources, a division of Suncastle Enterprises, Inc. is based in Tucson, Arizona. As a third-party relocation company, AIM places a strong emphasis on providing corporations top-notch assistance in managing their corporate relocation functions.
Our overall objective is to keep employees' productivity high by:
1.minimizing the amount of time required for the relocation, from initiation to integration in the new community;
2.performing efficiently for the employee many of the relocation tasks he/she would do inefficiently;
3.help reduce the stress level involved with a transfer, and;
4.helping the family adjust to the move and the new location.
Home Marketing / Pre-Marketing
We help your employees have the greatest chance of successfully marketing their
properties so they can move quickly. Their thoughts, at this point should be of
only the destination city.
Destination Services
Our affiliates provide city tours, home finding, mortgage application and a host of
other activities requiring guidance and experienced help at the destination end.
School Information
100% independently compiled information designed to help parents ascertain that
a given school district(s) can successfully meet the needs and goals of each family
member. The information may also be used by parents to direct their children to
those courses and programs most likely to insure their success. Matching the
information provided with their educational needs and goals assists families in
recognizing the overall quality of a school district, and in selecting appropriate
programs from the wide array offered by most school districts.
Group Moves
While moving a group entails the same services needed when moving one family
at a time, it also requires extra attention and effort. The opportunity is there to
provide group presentations and counselling about the destination area. Group
moves often involve several employees who are moving only because their jobs
are moving and who really don't want to go. Multiple moves at the same time can
cause abnormalities in the real estate market at either or both ends. Human
Resource departments can be stretched to the limit of the existing staff in dealing
with so many transferees at the same time. AIM understands these dynamics and
works accordingly.
International Relocations
Transfers to locations outside the United States require special attention and
additional considerations. Allying with companies specializing in international
relocations, AIM can also help you with this element of your overall relocation
program.
Elder Care
Many of the employees most likely to be considered for transfer are members of
what is now being called the "Sandwich Generation". They are responsible for
care-giving not only to their children but are being called upon in increasing
numbers to be care-givers for their parents, also. Elder care is quickly becoming
one of the largest hurdles employers must overcome in persuading employees to
accept transfers. AIM has access to numerous resources that can aid the
'Sandwich Generation" transferees in determining how much and what kind of
elder care is available at their destination.
Spouse Employment Assistance
AIM has affiliations with several employment placement services. AIM also has
affiliations with many corporations with human resource departments that are
often looking for qualified individuals to fill available positions. Because of these
connections, AIM is in an unusually good position to aid "Trailing Spouses" who
are interested in re-entering the job market once the transferee and family have
settled in. AIM also has excellent relationships with numerous traditional
employment agencies.
For companies who have or who desire to have some type of company
'buyout' of the transferee's (or new recruit's) existing home, AIM offers these
additional services.
Appraisal Management
AIM can arrange for the ERC appraisals necessary to purchase the transferee's
home at a price that is fair for both the transferee and the company.
Inspection Services Management
Prior to purchasing the transferee's home, most corporations will have the home
inspected from top to bottom so that any undisclosed flaws in the property can be
discussed with the transferee and so that a complete disclosure can then be
made by the corporation to the ultimate purchaser. This is important since the law
holds the corporation to a higher standard of accountability as a more
knowledgeable and sophisticated home seller.
Corporate Inventory Management
Once the corporation owns the transferee's home, it is time again to market it. It
will also be necessary to insure that the home is maintained, that utilities are kept
on, and that someone is overseeing the broker who is doing the marketing. AIM is
in much better position to do this than is the corporation.
